In the Fall of 2010 i discovered a 1948 Deluxe Model Westinghouse Refrigerator half buried on its' back, just inside the tree line along the Pearl River in Jackson, MS. With the assistance of my friend Roy Adkins, i dug it up, stood it up and made it a FaceBook page. Thus began my experiment in luring people off the beaten path by approaching them on the virtual paths they regularly occupy.

With very simple instructions, the refrigerators FaceBook friends began to venture out to it, bring things to it, and organize the contents of its cavity. It became a community shadowbox with circulating contents of vessels, bones, shells, and toys. The project also spawned other works and actions which are featured here as well.
