A Council of Suggestion is formed when community members join together to support an event by offering their power of suggestion. When this commitment is made, a Muddle arises to carry out their will.

Mr. Muddle and the Council of Suggestion is a staged-reality game which was played at the interactive arts festival FIGMENT Jackson the summer of 2011. Seven diverse members of the Jackson community came together to offer their suggestion of a High Five Gauntlet to take place at the culmination of the festival Sunday afternoon. Mr. Muddle arose to act as the ambassodor for their message.

For two days, the Council wandered the festival site as Mr. Muddle spread the message of their suggestion. While awaiting the realization of the gauntlet, they worked through consensus to make additional suggestions for immediate action which Mr. Muddle would then insist be carried out by festival goers.
